Get Involved

There are a number of opportunities throughout the year for you to come into school to speak to the teacher or to see what your child is doing in class.

Each phase hold Welcome Meetings at the start of the year.  This is a good time to meet the teachers and to find out about the changes in expectations for the coming year.

Each term there will be a themed Parent Workshop where you will be invited in to work with your child and to catch up with the teacher.

We also hold an Autumn term and Spring Term Parents’ Evening.  This is organised via an appointment system.  You can find out about your child’s progress and attainment and ask their teacher any questions you may have.

We hope to see you getting involved with the events at school.  Letting your child’s teacher know what time is best will enable us to reach as many of you as possible.

Helpers Needed…

We know we have some talented parents/carers in our community!

We are always keen to involve parents/carers in school.

We are also looking for volunteers to support Reading, cooking and gardening to mention but a few!

To support Reading you can:

To support gardening you can:

  • Help to maintain our garden area, planters and raised beds
  • Donate any useful equipment, pots, seeds and compost
  • Spare some time to work with the children in growing our own produce
  • Join in with the gardening afterschool club in the Spring/Summer
 To support cooking you can:

  • share your skills during class topics
  • join in with our Food for Life project
  • share your family recipes with the children
