Heathfield Sports Ambassadors

Some of our older children have been chosen to train as Young Sports Ambassadors. Their training involves a day at Nottingham Trent University, meetings during the year with other young Ambassadors and giving a presentation at the end. They work so hard and are fantastic role models; being a credit to school.

The children help with delivery of after-school clubs, within KS1 PE lessons, at sports day and by running lunch clubs. Their work in school has a big impact on their own development, self-esteem and engagement with other young people. They Are excellent role models with great enthusiasm, and have helped raise enjoyment and achievement of PE and Sport in school.
